While there we saw several Elk...and it is Elk mating season. At Mammoth Springs we saw at least three large elk with their heard of cows. We were also fortunate enough to see a grizzly bear however I don't think you can tell from the picture. Amongst other animals we saw the usual buffalo and on the way back we saw a couple of moose. Here are several pictures of our excursion with the animals. Most are taken at Mammoth Springs. The elk were making mating calls and there were several times when you could touch them. The grizzly bear was about 150 yards away.
We went and stayed at the Woods Cabin in Island Park this last weekend. The Taylors: Russ, Diane, Jordan and Allyson came with us. While we were there we went to Yellowstone National Park. Here are just a few pics of us at the paint pots and other place...I don't really know the names of. The one with Laura and I on the log is reminscent of when we first started dating. We have similar pictures from the year before.
Just so you all know Laura past her dental hygiene exam. It's a relief to know it's over!!! Laura holding her "SUCCESS" certificate. Thanks for the flowers Saun. Roger ate all the baby breathe.
Just some recent pictures of us hanging out with Laura's nephew Jackson and new little niece London. We were picking up a bed in our classic International Truck that was given to us by Bryan's grandpa Taylor.
We found Fiona to be Rogers little sister. We recently had her fixed and she kept licking the wound. The vet put her in a cone for two weeks and we can't stop laughing about it. Poor kitty. The kitten with the blue paws is Roger when he got declawed. We never thought that we would like our cats so much!!!
We recently made a trip to San Diego to visit our friends. We spent most of our time at the beach relaxing and swimming in the ocean. During our time there we were able to swim with the leopard sharks and sea lions.
